Training with Partners
Restore Children and Family Services recently conducted orientation seminars and trainings about The Living Legacy of Trauma. The objective of these trainings is to make the participants understand the lifelong effects of psychological trauma so that they will be equipped to identify trauma symptoms among their own clientele and redirect the trauma survivors to access help from appropriate professional agencies. Restore staff provided a brief overview of the programs and services offered by Restore and the referral process. As a result, participants were eager to refer their clients who have moderate to severe manifestations of trauma and may benefit from Restore services.
Approximately 160 participants from Compassion International, PNP – Women and Children Protection Desk, and Department of Education – Lapu-Lapu City Division attended. The participants found the trainings valuable and requested additional trainings in the future. We praise God for the partnerships formed this quarter and are excited to help more trauma victims and survivors find hope, healing, and restoration.
To God be the glory!
