Restore CFS Cebu has been conferred the “Salamat Po” Award for being one of the Best Non-Government Organizations in Region VII.  The award was received by Jelyn Banga, Strategic Partnership Coordinator, on behalf of Restore CFS Cebu at a ceremony held in Radisson Blu Hotel, Cebu City on March 29, 2022.

The award has been given by the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Region VII, on its 71st anniversary.  DSWD is the department of the Philippine Government that is responsible for the protection of the social welfare and rights of the people and to promote social development.  DSWD “Salamat Po” Award celebrates and honors organizations as well as individuals who have contributed a positive impact on the lives of the Filipinos in the community.

Upon receiving the award, Jelyn commented, “It is indeed an encouragement for us to receive this award. This kind of recognition motivates us to continue the work that God has entrusted to us and to be His instrument in bringing healing and restoration to the lives of the children that we serve.  On behalf of Restore CFS Cebu, we would like to thank everyone who considered and given us this award. All glory and praises to God!”
